Musical Awakening

To the great delight of early childhood care and day-care centres, 3 to 5 year-olds are invited to discover and explore the world of music. These enchanting, finely-crafted shows are presented at the JMC House, in the heart of Plateau Mont-Royal.

These interpretive concerts, each about 35 minutes in duration, are designed to develop children’s listening skills and their knowledge of basic musical concepts. They are a marvellous opportunity for the very young to experience a live performance and enter the world of music, a new and inviting space.

With a capacity of 100 people, the chamber music hall at the JMC House allows a special communication and intimacy to develop between the musicians and young audience members.
