From zouk, to gospel and classical music, young Steeve Vérayie Jurad born in Fort-de-France, Martinique does it all. After having studied mathematics, he dreamed of going on to study voice. Accepted at the Université de Montréal, today he now holds a Bachelor in classical and baroque singing. Over the last few years, he has appeared in the roles of Seneca in Monteverdi’s L’incoronazionne di Poppea, Frank in Johann Strauss’ Die Fledermaus, and the Commendatore in Mozart’s Don Giovanni. Steeve Vérayie Jurad is most certainly one of today’s up-and-coming new stars.
