Rosalie Asselin studied with Suzanne Goyette at the Conservatoire de musique du Québec in Montreal before obtaining her Master’s with Maneli Pirzadeh at the Université de Montréal. She is an accompanist at both the Université de Montréal and the Université de Sherbrooke, where she is also musical director of the opera workshop. She is frequently a pianist for the OSM chorus and occasionally collaborates with the Ensemble contemporain de Montréal. Rosalie Asselin has been working with Jeunesses Musicales of Canada (JMC) since 2006. In addition to being a versatile artist who is highly appreciated by JMC’s young audiences, this pianist also takes part in JMC’s opera tours. Highly involved in the musical milieu, she is also a member of Jeunesses Musicales of Canada’s board of directors.
