A native of Prince George, British Columbia, Jessica Wise first studied piano at Mount Allison University, where she received a Bachelor’s with distinction. She furthered her studies in voice with Thérèse Sevadjian and Michael McMahon at the Schulich School of Music at McGill University, where she obtained a Master’s in performance. Last year, she sang the role of Rosina in Jeunesses Musicales of Canada’s production of Rossini’s Il barbiere di Siviglia, performed some thirty times in as many cities across the country. She has also performed a number of other roles, including Fiordiligi in Mozart’s Così fan tutte.
