Heather Jewson

Instrument: mezzo-soprano

Since graduating with a Masters in Music from the University of Toronto’s Opera Division in 2007, Heather Jewson has had two successful seasons at the Aspen Summer Music Festival singing the roles of Tisbe in Rossini’s La Cenerentola, and Lucretia in Britten’s The Rape of Lucretia, and appeared regularly with the Canadian Opera Company. She made her Carnegie Hall Debut in the prestigious Lyndon Woodside Solo Competition and has performed with the Pax Christi Choral, the Stratford Concert Choir, the Mississauga Choral Society, and the Rosedale Singers. Upcoming performances include the Bach’s St. Matthew Passion, Bizet’s Carmen and Verdi’s Otello.
